Peronopsis interstrictus (White 1874)
Specimen : 1 X 0.5 CM
Middle Cambrian Age (520 million years old)
A complete specimen of a rare species of a blind trilobite on the original matrix, showing very little compression on the original specimen! Quarried from near Delta, Utah, these trilobites come from one of the USAs largest Cambrian Age outcrops! Specimens like this found in the shale layer make for beautiful contrast against the grey colored matrix and pitch black calcite fossil for study or display specimens. Rather than the basic "steel wool" prep, this has been micro-blasted in a lab setting for ultimate detail preservation of the specimen.
Order : Agnostida
Family : Ptychagnostidae
